Seagull Band is one of the Carnival Bands that joined the Carnival in 2005. It's known for being well-organised and stylish, with its main goal being to support the Tourism and Hospitality industry and help those in need through charity. Every year during the Carnival, the band showcases African Culture through creativity and talent.

You can easily recognise Seagull Band by its eye-catching red colour. The band has a clear structure and a leader, Sen. (Princess) Florence Ita-Giwa (OON), who is energetic and charismatic. Mrs. Affiong Effiom, a lecturer at the University of Calabar, Nigeria, assists her. Seagull Band is special because it celebrates both Nigerian and other artists, movie stars, and beauty queens.
